Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the purchase of tickets to events hosted by A Lot on Our Plate ("we", "our", "us"). By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these Terms.

1. Ticket Sales

All tickets must be purchased through our official site: www.alotonourplate.com.

Once your order is confirmed, you will receive an email with your ticket details.

2. Refunds and Transfers

Tickets are non-refundable. We are unable to offer refunds for any reason, including change of mind, inability to attend, or personal circumstances.

Tickets are transferable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person. Please notify us of the transfer at least 48 hours prior to the event by emailing info@alotonourplate.com.

Any transfers are the sole responsibility of the ticket holder.

3. Event Changes

We reserve the right to make changes to the event program, venue, or speakers if necessary.

If an event is cancelled by us, ticket holders will be offered the option to transfer their ticket to a future event.

4. Dietary Requirements

We make every effort to accommodate dietary requirements provided at the time of booking. However, we cannot guarantee that all requests will be met or that food will be free from allergens.

5. Alcohol Service

Some events may include alcohol. Attendees must be 18 years or older to consume alcohol. Proof of age may be required at the venue.

We support the responsible service of alcohol and reserve the right to refuse service if necessary.

6. Photography & Media

Events may be photographed or filmed for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to your image being used in marketing materials and social media.

If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please advise us in writing prior to the event by emailing info@alotonourplate.com.

7. Accessibility

We aim to make our events as accessible as possible. If you require accessibility support, please contact us prior to the event at info@alotonourplate.com, and we will do our best to assist.

8. Code of Conduct

We ask all attendees to be respectful of others. Disruptive, anti-social, or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the event without refund.

Bullying, harassment, or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.

9. Liability

By attending our events, you agree that A Lot on Our Plate is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage sustained at or in connection with the event.

Attendees are responsible for their own safety, belongings, and conduct during the event.

10. Privacy

Information collected during ticket purchase (such as name, email, and phone number) is used for event administration, communication, and marketing purposes.

By purchasing a ticket, you consent to receive event-related updates and occasional marketing communications from A Lot on Our Plate.

You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us directly.

We will not share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, including but not limited to:

  • the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)), and

  • the Fair Trading Act 1987 (NSW).

Any disputes arising from these Terms or from attendance at an event will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
