This A Lot on Our Plate event will bring Food Technology and Hospitality teachers together at The Flotilla! A small, dynamic restaurant in Newcastle, NSW, offering a relaxed yet refined dining experience that celebrates the joy of eating out. You’ll enjoy a three course menu at The Flotilla, hear insights from both educators and industry professionals, and take away practical ideas you can use in your own teaching.

This event makes ticking off your industry currency simple! Enjoy a night of food, connection and fresh ideas while meeting your VET teacher training requirements.

What to Expect

  • A specially curated three course menu

  • During the meal, you’ll hear insights from two industry voices, which could include the venue’s owner or chef, local suppliers, training providers, small business leaders, or other hospitality professionals.
