This A Lot on Our Plate event will bring Food Technology and Hospitality teachers together in one of Newcastle’s most exciting dining rooms. You’ll enjoy a shared menu at HUMBUG, hear insights from both educators and industry professionals, and take away practical ideas you can use in your own teaching.

This event makes ticking off your industry currency simple! Enjoy a night of food, connection and fresh ideas while meeting your VET teacher training requirements.

What to Expect

  • A seasonal menu at HUMBUG featuring house-made pasta and small plates.

  • During the meal, you’ll hear insights from two industry voices, which could include the venue’s owner or chef, local suppliers, training providers, small business leaders, or other hospitality professionals.
